2. Scope of Collected Data

The website bta.systems collects the following data:

Data provided voluntarily by the user:

  • Email address — provided in the contact form and the preliminary project assessment (brief) form
  • Idea / inquiry description — provided in the preliminary project assessment form

3. Purpose of Data Processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring proper website functionality
  • Analyzing visit statistics and user behavior (Google Analytics)
  • Ensuring website security
  • Responding to inquiries submitted via the contact form
  • Preparing a preliminary project assessment based on the submitted description and responding to the provided email address

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Personal data is processed on the following legal bases under the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR):

  • Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — user consent: regarding analytical cookies (Google Analytics) and voluntary provision of email address in contact forms
  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — necessity to take steps prior to entering into a contract: regarding the preparation of a preliminary project assessment based on the submitted inquiry
  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest of the controller: regarding ensuring proper website functionality, security, and maintaining visit statistics

5. Cookies

The website uses cookies — small text files stored on the user's device. We distinguish the following types of cookies:

  • Essential — necessary for proper website functionality (e.g., remembering cookie preferences), do not require consent
  • Analytical (Google Analytics) — used to collect anonymous statistics about website usage; require user consent and are only activated after consent is given

Upon the first visit, a cookie banner is displayed informing the user about cookies. The user may accept or reject analytical cookies. If rejected, Google Analytics will not be activated. Users can also change cookie settings in their browser at any time.

6. Google Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-SBK487PJN4), provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze how users interact with the website.

Google Analytics scripts are loaded only after the user gives consent via the cookie banner. If analytical cookies are rejected, no data is transmitted to Google Analytics.

Information generated by cookies about website usage may be transferred to Google servers in the United States. 7. Contact Forms

The website contains two forms where the user may voluntarily provide their email address:

  • Contact form — allows sending a message with an email address and a description of needs. This data is used solely for the purpose of responding to the inquiry.
  • Preliminary project assessment form (brief) — allows describing a project idea and providing an email address to receive a detailed analysis. This data is used solely for preparing a response and follow-up contact.

Providing an email address in both forms is voluntary but necessary to receive a response. The controller does not use the provided email addresses for marketing purposes and does not share them with third parties.

8. Data Retention Period

Technical data is stored for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, no longer than 26 months from the date of the user's last activity on the website. Data from contact forms (email address, inquiry description) is stored for the period necessary to handle the inquiry, no longer than 12 months from the date of submission.

9. User Rights

Every user has the right to:

  • Access their personal data
  • Rectify their data
  • Erase their data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict processing
  • Data portability
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal)
  • Lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland)

10. Data Recipients

Data may be shared with entities providing services to the controller, in particular:

  • Hosting service providers
  • Google Ireland Limited — in connection with the Google Analytics service (only after the user consents to analytical cookies)

Data may be transferred to third countries (including the USA) only within the scope of the Google Analytics service, based on appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses). Outside this scope, data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area.

11. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy. Users will be informed of any changes by posting an updated version on the website.
